Ohhhh yes gf's this pretty much sums up today's efforts - that pile of books, copious amounts of tea to be sipped and a cone of silence hovering over me to make sure the world doesn't get in the way of quiet time! Bliss. Might interrupt it all temporarily to go on a lunch date with B, lucky lad. Then again, might not?!!!
Feels very odd to be here and not down country but I guess it's all about the things you do for Mardi Gras weekend. We're looking forward to seeing the parade later - rain drenched, spray tanned, marching lycra-ed lads being pursued by dykes on bikes - it's all go in Sydney-town today.
Must dust off some Kylie shorts later on to glam up. Happy Mardi Gras!
